Saskatoon Police Service and the Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team are heading the investigation into a police involved shooting early Saturday morning near Cut Knife that left a 49 year old man injured. RCMP got reports of incidents involving a man on the Little Pine First Nation who was pointing a firearm at security members, an assault and a report of a suicidal person. Officers confronted the man, and at least one discharged his weapon. The man was treated in hospital and released to RCMP custody.
