Manitoba RCMP participated in “Operation Impact” during the Thanksgiving long weekend, and released numbers on how busy they were.
1-thousand 502 vehicles were checked at 24 individual check stops across the province.
15 drivers were charged with Impaired Driving, 16 drivers received a Roadside Suspension, and 18 tickets were issued for Distracted Driving.
Operation Impact is a national policing initiative focusing on high-risk driving behaviours that contribute to serious and fatal motor vehicle collisions.
