Manitoba released the latest COVID-19 weekly update.
For the week of October 23-29, 411 new, confirmed cases were recorded, an increase from 362 the previous week.
116 people were admitted to a hospital that week, up from the previous week’s 100, ICU admissions dropped to 7 from 16, and deaths increased to 11 from 8.
The weekly test positivity rate rose to 28.7 percent.
9 COVDI-19 outbreaks at long-term care facilities were recorded last week, but zero in schools.
