A new development in a homicide investigation at Keeseekoose First Nation.
RCMP arrested 19-year-old Edgar Kakakaway Jr. without incident at Keeseekoose First Nation today (Tues).
He was the subject of an arrest warrant in connection with a homicide Saturday (Nov. 19), in which RCMP noted a 16-year-old boy from Cote First Nation was killed.
Kakakaway Jr. is charged with 2nd Degree Murder, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, and Failing to comply with a condition of a release order. RCMP say court information will be provided when available.
