Starting next month, in-patient services and hospital admissions at the hospital in Grandview will be temporarily suspended.
This is due to nursing shortages, as a spokesperson for Prairie Mountain Health says the hospital has 4 nursing positions currently filled out of the 14 total positions needed.
The spokesperson added any patients who need hospital admission will be sent to a nearby facility.
Emergency department services will continue but will be limited to 3 or 4 days a week.
