A Fort Qu’Appelle man is $100-thousand richer, after he won the money through a Virtual Bonanza ticket.
Justin Allard bought the winning ticket at the Fort Qu’Appelle Scenic Centre on October 21st, and found out he won almost immediately.
“I didn’t even play the game; I just scratched the bar code and had store clerk check it,” Allard said in a media release.
Allard says it took him two days to get down from his high of excitement.
He plans to pay off debt, get shoes for his son, and buy a new TV and washer and dryer for his family with the winnings.
“It’s a lot of money and this can be used for some benefit,” he added.
