A man who admitted his guilt, in connection with an incident at a residence in the R.M. of Kelsey last year, following a threat complaint, has a new sentencing date. On November 15, 2021, a man told police he was inside the home, and was threatened by another man. A search of the home turned up a firearm. In May, 58-year-old Anthony Ross, of the R.M. of Kelsey, admitted to Possession of a Weapon Without a License and Possession of a Weapon While Prohibited, with the remaining charges against him stayed by the Crown. He is now scheduled to be sentenced on March 31st, in The Pas.
