Planning for a new 33 bed long-term care home in Grenfell is moving ahead. 3 teams have been invited to submit for a request for proposal, which closes March 2nd, 2023. They are PCL Construction, founded in Stoughton, Graham Construction of Saskatchewan and Red Deer, Alberta based Scott Builders. The new facility will be built on a vacant parcel of land located in the northeast corner of the town, and will be owned and operated by the Saskatchewan Health Authority, and replaces the former Grenfell Pioneer Home, which closed in 2018.
