The Stay-at-Home program will be expanded by the Manitoba government.
Sport, Culture and Heritage Minister Cathy Cox announced an additional 2-million dollars invested into the program.
“This additional investment has allowed us to now support over 300 projects offered by Manitoba artists, not-for-profits, local businesses and municipalities across Manitoba.” Cox said.
The Stay-at-Home program gives Manitobans access to free programming at home, such as at-home fitness, cooking classes, and art programs for children, during the pandemic.
The provincial government also invested 440-thousand dollars into a Stay-at-Home advertising campaign.
“We are launching phase 2 of our Stay-at-Home advertising campaign to encourage Manitobans to continue their efforts to bend our COVID-curve down by following public health advice and staying safe at home.” she said.
