An Ebb and Flow First Nation man, arrested following a firearm incident on the reserve, has admitted his guilt.
23-year-old Jacob Levasseur was in Dauphin Tuesday, where he pled guilty to six counts, including Assaulting a Peace Officer with a Weapon, and two counts of Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose.
A pre-sentence report has been ordered, and Levasseur was remanded in custody to appear again August 24th.
On May 8th, Ste. Rose RCMP received a report of a male walking around Ebb and Flow with a firearm, and when police spotted the suspect, he walked into a bush area, and the RCMP’s emergency response team had to be called in.
