Yesterday (Sun) saw the chariots and chuckwagon races, hosted by the Yorkton Exhibition Association, wrap up.
It was a big weekend for Casey Peterson.
Peterson took the overall chariot title, with a combined time of 183.68 seconds over three runs.
Peterson also won the overall chuckwagon title, with a combined time of 183.32 seconds over the three-day event.
General Manager Barb Woytas was thrilled for how the weekend unfolded.
“It was a great weekend. We have to thank all of the guests that attended our event this weekend, we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout.” Woytas said. “Again we want to thank all of our sponsors who stepped up to support this event…and our Grandstand sponsors.”
The Yorkton Exhibition Association announced some upcoming events, including the Parking Lot Bingo tomorrow night (Tue), and the Thunder in the Parkland Truck and Tractor Pull on August 27th and 28th.
Woytas also announced the Eastern Professional Chariot and Chuckwagon Association series finals will be in Yorkton September 3-5.
