Saskatchewan residents could be paying an extra $5.65 a month to heath their homes. SaskEnergy has asked the rate review panel to approve the increase in their commodity rate, which the Crown Company uses to purchase natural gas. If approved, it would take effect November 1st, and would be SaskEnergy’s first commodity rate hike in 7 years.
