Tim Horton’s is running its annual Smile Cookies campaign from now until Sunday, and in Yorkton, they’re helping out a local organization.
All proceeds from this week’s sales of smile cookies will be allocated to the Brayden Ottenbreit Close Cuts for Cancer – Local Cancer Initiatives Program.
Close Cuts Co-Founder Leone Ottenbreit says the Local Cancer Initiatives ProgramĀ helps local cancer patients and their families by funding one-night stays at the Regina Cancer Patient Lodge and one-week stays at Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon.
The program also helps the Health Foundation on their cancer-related initiatives and supporting the needs of Camp Circle O’Friends.
Ottenbreit says in addition to simply going into one of the two Yorkton locations and ordering one, you can also pre-order smile cookies.
To do so, request an order form via email to closecuts@sasktel.net and submit it to either Tim Horton’s location in Yorkton, at least 48 hours before pickup, so it gives them time to prepare.
