The Saskatchewan Medical Association is on a tour of twelve regions of the province, and the 4th wave of the pandemic was top of mind at a meeting in Saskatoon. Vice President Dr. John Gjevre says the SMA and the province’s physicians don’t believe the fourth wave has peaked, and that doctors, nurses and other health care workers are starting to burn out. With more than 600 deaths and almost 60 thousand cases, Dr. Gjevre says the SMA and the province’s physicians don’t believe the fourth wave has peaked.
