Manitoba announced a new hospital will be built in Neepawa.
The new facility will replace the Neepawa Health Centre, and is expected to be at least twice the size of the existing facility.
There will be at least 60 inpatient beds, an expanded emergency department, and enhanced space for a number of programs such as surgery, diagnostics and palliative care.
The new facility will cost at least 127-million dollars and construction is expected to be completed in 2025.
