The next scheduled general election in Saskatchewan is set for October 26th, but there are indications we could go to the polls earlier. Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe says he can call an early election if he so chooses, but right now he is still planning for a fall vote. The NDP says if Premier Scott Moe decides to call an early election his party will be ready. Leader Ryan Meili says it is time for a political change in Saskatchewan so the earlier the better.
