A Preeceville man who admitted to a serious sexual assault in that community, has had his appeal dismissed.
The Court of Appeal heard the case of 21-year-old Shawn Pasiechnik in February, and upheld his prison sentence this week.
In December of 2017, a woman and her child were in their Preeceville residence, when a masked man, armed with a firearm, broke in, and sexually assaulted the woman.
In Yorkton Provincial Court last June, Pasiechnik was sentenced to 10 years in prison, but was given credit for 224 days already served in custody.
