There’s going to be a race for the mayors chair in Preeceville.
After originally saying he was not going to run for the post again, incumbent mayor Garth Harris decided at the last moment to seek another term.
Harris, who is being challenged for the post by Ralph Ager, was first elected in 2003, and has been mayor since 2006.
7 people are running for 6 spots on council.
