A former Yorkton man charged with Manslaughter, in connection with the death of a one-year-old girl in Regina, was due in Regina Provincial Court today (MON), for a bail hearing.
20-year-old Bailey Peepeetch was originally arrested for Aggravated Assault on October 7th, but the charge was upgraded when the girl died two days later.
Regina Police say the investigation began when they were called to a hospital for a report of a critically injured child.
EMS advised that the child’s injuries were suspected to be the result of physical abuse.
