A bench warrant has been issued for a Balcarres district man, who failed to appear in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (TUES), on several weapon-related offences.
21-year-old Mackenzie Desnomie is facing numerous charges, including Assault with a Weapon and Failure to Comply with a Condition of a Release Order.
On August 7th, Regina Police were called to a report of a firearms offence.
The suspect fled from police on foot, and during the pursuit he threatened an individual at a business with a firearm.
He was eventually arrested, and a loaded firearm was recovered, along with a backpack containing ammunition.
