Last night’s accident at the intersection of Highways 9 and 16 in Yorkton, was fatal.
A car travelling south on Highway 9 collided with the rear of a semi travelling west on Highway 16.
The driver of the car, a 43-year-old from Churchbridge, died on route to a Regina hospital, while the passenger, a 42-year-old from Churchbridge, sustained critical injuries.
The driver of the semi, a 67-year-old was uninjured in the accident.
Yorkton RCMP continue investigating the accident.
