The latest sale of oil and gas rights in Saskatchewan has brought in nearly $1 million.
The December sale netted $913 thousand in revenue for the government, and brought the total fort fiscal 2020-21 to $6.2 million.
There were 6 accepted bids for oil shale leases in East Central Saskatchewan, but the majority of interest was in the Estevan area.
The 6th and final sale goes in February.
