Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yorkton and Area are advising the public of a security breach, in regard to their email system.
Executive Director Irma Van de Bon Nicol says someone hacked their bbbsyorkton@sasktel.net email address, and has been sending emails asking recipients for favours, such as purchasing Google Play cards.
Big Brothers Big Sisters ask the public to not respond to such emails, and call (306) 782-3471, if you have received one.
Van de Bon Nicol says they have updated their email security, and apologizes for any inconvenience, adding that if anyone would like to make a donation to the organization, it is best to do so in person.
