A guilty plea, from a Yorkton woman, charged in connection with a June 2017 stabbing incident in Saskatoon.
28-year-old Kayleen Brass was charged with Aggravated Assault, after a man was allegedly stabbed in the Bridge City on June 7, 2017. and she was since accused on two occasions of breaching her release conditions.
On Friday (12th), at her trial, in Saskatoon Provincial Court, Brass pled guilty to Robbery, Break and Enter, and Being Unlawfully at Large, while the Aggravated Assault charge was stayed.
She was sentenced to five years in prison, minus credit for 563 days already served in custody.
