A Sask. RCMP Officer Has Been Shot And Wounded

An RCMP member has suffered a serious, but non-life threatening injury after he was shot responding to an erratic and possibly impaired driving call near the community of Mervin, near Lloydminster. Turtleford RCMP were able to arrest the suspect, who was also taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries in the incident. The officer has since been released from hospital. Regina Police are taking over the investigation.
