Saskatchewan Agriculture released its weekly crop report this (Thu) morning.
39% of crops are now in the bin, up from 23% last week, but still well behind the 5 year average of 62% for this time of year.
Harvest is most advanced in the southwest region, at 58% complete.
Our east central region trails the pack at 22% percent complete.
Crops have been slow to mature and dry down due to frequent showers.
Much of the crop harvested so far is tough, and is being put into grain dryers and aeration bins.
