A panel of Saskatchewan judges has denied the appeal of the La Loche shooter’s adult sentence.
The shooter, who is now 21, still can’t be named because there is a 60-day period during which he can still appeal the provincial decision to the Supreme Court of Canada.
In February of 2018, the individual was sentenced as an adult to life with no change of parole for 10 years.
On January 22nd, 2016, brothers 17-year-old Dayne Fontaine and 13-year-old Drayden Fontaine were shot and killed in their home, before the shooter went to the La Loche Community School and killed teachers aide Marie Janvier and teacher Adam Wood.
