Two B-C residents have had court appearances, following their arrest in Yorkton on drug and weapon charges.
In Yorkton today (Mon), 24-year-old Jason Ford and 19-year-old Emma Loverin had her matters adjourned until December 16th.
The pair were apprehended in May of last year, after police received a report of an altercation in progress at Walmart.
When Mounties searched the couple’s hotel room and vehicle, they seized 107 grams of cocaine, 30 grams of marijuana, a rifle, and some ammunition.
However, a judge determined last month, that the search of the hotel room and vehicle violated Ford’s Charter rights.
