Two of three people charged in connection with a string of ATM thefts and attempted thefts, that occurred across south and central Saskatchewan between November 22 and New Year’s Day, have new court dates.
Following an investigation that saw multiple RCMP detachments and units team up with Crime Stoppers, authorities were able to connect the Landis bank robbery with incidents in 13 other communities, including Lemberg and Wolseley.
As the investigation continued, Mounties were led to a home in Biggar, where they executed a search warrant on February 5, which resulted in the recovery of items believed to be connected to the ATM thefts, and the Landis bank robbery.
Charges have been laid against 36-year-old Sheena Benoit, 33-year-old Joshua Meszaros, and 48-year-old Jeremy Seery of Rosetown.
Benoit will be back in North Battleford Provincial Court on May 28, while Meszaros will appear again June 4.
Meanwhile, a warrant has been issued for Seery’s arrest.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
