RCMP in The Pas are investigating three separate fires that broke out within a two-hour span in the early morning hours of Aug. 1.
The first report came in around 2:40 a.m., when officers were called to a structure fire on Edwards Avenue. Police say the building was under construction and unoccupied at the time of the fire.
While officers were still on scene, a second report came in for a vehicle fire on Larose Avenue. A fully engulfed vehicle was located in a parking lot belonging to a local business.
Just under two hours later, a grass fire was reported on Fischer Avenue. RCMP say that fire was quickly brought under control.
The Pas RCMP and local fire department responded to all three incidents. Investigators believe the fires are related.
