A new development in the case of one of two Esterhazy residents, facing drug trafficking charges, following their arrest in Balgonie.
On January 10, Mounties arrested three people at a business at the junction of Highways 1 and 46, and during a search of the suspects and their vehicle, officers found 58 grams of cocaine, a small amount of fentanyl, and cash.
49-year-old Christine Duchek appeared in Regina Provincial Court yesterday (Wed), where she pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, and received a 9 month conditional discharge.
Her co-accused, 49-year-old Christopher Haines, will be back in court on August 28.
