Team Saskatchewan will carry strong local representation into the 2025 National Women’s Under-18 Hockey Championship, with Melville’s Anneka Aspaas and Savannah Mucha, along with Kelvington’s Tarynn Sutter, earning spots on the provincial roster.
The tournament is set for November 2nd to 8th, 2025 in Newfoundland & Labrador, featuring the country’s top provincial and regional teams.
Aspaas, a forward and RIT Tigers commit with the Battlefords Sharks in the Saskatchewan Female U18 AAA Hockey League, delivered a breakout 2024–25 season with 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points in 30 games.
Mucha, also skating for the Sharks, was a reliable presence on the blue line. She contributed offensively with 7 goals and 10 assists for 17 points in 29 games, ranking among the league’s more productive defenders.
Sutter anchored the crease for the Saskatoon Stars, turning in one of the league’s top goaltending performances. In 29 regular-season appearances, she compiled a 15–2 record, supported by a 1.78 goals-against average and a .940 save percentage.
