The Swan Valley Stampeders had their record fall to 1 and 3 on the young MJHL season after falling in both matchups down south over the weekend.
First on Friday night, the Selkirk Steelers used a five goal second period, en route to a 6-2 win over the Stampeders.
Griffin Krone had two goals, one assist to lead the way for the Steelers as they improved to 5-0.
Darren Hunt and Ethan MacTavish replied for the Stampeders, while Easton Falls made 38 saves in the loss.
Then on Saturday night, the Winnipeg Blues top line of Campbell Epp, Carson White, and Eloi Robert combined for 11 points as they edged the Stamps 7-5.
Crosby Harrison led Swan Valley with two goals, while linemate Finlay Johnston had one goal, two assists in the loss.
