A new development in the case of one of two women, arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Balcarres.
Last September, Mounties were called to a Balcarres business, where two women had allegedly assaulted an employee with a golf club, and stole two bottles of liquor, before fleeing the scene.
Police located the vehicle, but it failed to stop, then it turned into a field, where the suspects were eventually taken into custody.
In Fort Qu’Appelle Provincial Court Monday, 19-year-old Serenity Fink pleaded guilty to theft and impaired driving, and received a 12 month conditional sentence, 12 months of probation, and a 1 year driving prohibition.
