PREECEVILLE — Assiniboine Trailer Sales, located along Hwy. 49 east of Preeceville, is busier than ever before. This family-run business is providing the service of retailing various types of trailers at a local level and to other areas in the province as well as neighbouring provinces.
The owners of the business, Layton and Marita Isaac, were both raised on the Prairies and started selling trailers while living in B.C. 10 years ago. In 2018, their family relocated to Preeceville and founded their trailer sales business in 2022.
Goosenecks, utility trailers, car haulers, dump trailers, sled trailers, tilting trailers and enclosed trailers are hauled in from various factories in Manitoba, assembled and inspected, and advertised to be sold. The brands include Rainbow, Stronghaul Aluminum, Trail-tech and Prairie Road. Trailers tailored to customers’ individual hauling needs can also be ordered.
Recently, Assiniboine Trailer Sales added Old Hickory Sheds to their sales yards, and their son Jaxson is taking orders and making deals with customers on in-stock sheds or custom builds. The sheds are built in Foam Lake, and free delivery is offered within 50 km of any sales yard.
“We want to thank all customers for their support, and look forward to growing and expanding our business into more communities, providing good quality products to more satisfied customers,” stated Layton and Marita Isaac.
