MELVILLE MILLIONAIRES 8, WEYBURN RED WINGS 4
The Melville Millionaires used eight different goal scorers en route to a 8-4 doubling of the Yorkton Terriers on Friday night.
The Millionaires got off to a hot start with goals from Devin Winder, Brendan Olson, Ty Janz, Brodie Hicks and Jackson Lee to get out to a 5-0 lead after one period.
Wesley Olson, Kale Margolis and Grady Carmichael also scored for the Millionaires, while Roan Burgess, Josh Sale and Drew Molde replied for the Red Wings.
Kael Svenson stopped 24 of 28 shots to earn the win in the Mils net.
The two teams will play the back end of the home and home series on Satruday night in Melville starting at 6:00 PM from the CN Community Centre.
YORKTON TERRIERS 5, HUMBOLDT BRONCOS 3
Kale John scored twice, while Callum Creig made 38 saves to help the Yorkton Terriers earn their first win of the season, a 5-3 decision over the Humboldt Broncos.
Brett Buckley, Zach Hertz and William Leonard also scored for the Terriers who improved to 1-2-1 on the season.
Jacob Strizzi, Brayden Skogstad and Kristian Lacelle scored for the Broncos.
Nick Kotai made 36 saves in the loss.
The rematch between the two teams will go on Saturday at 7:00 PM from the Westland Arena.

Melfort Mustangs 3, Battlefords 2 (SO)
Kaleb Binner netted the shootout winner while Kason Kobelka made 30 stops to help the Melfort Mustangs to a 3-2 win over the Battlefords North Stars.
Kobe Sawyer had one goal, one assist for North Stars in the loss.
Flin Flon Bombers 4, Warman Wolverines 2
The Flin Flon Bombers remained perfect at 5-0 after 4-2 victory over the Warman Wolverines.
Local products Wyatt Stinton and Joey Lies led the way with one goal, one assist each, while Matthew Bradley made 42 stops in the win.
Nipawin Hawks 3, Estevan Bruins 1
The Nipawin Hawks got out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back in a 3-1 victory over the Estevan Bruins,
Mason Karakochuk, Tiernan Ryan and Will Whitter scored the goals for the Hawks.
