Ethan MacTavish continued his hot streak, scoring his sixth, seventh, and eighth goals of the season to complete a hat trick and lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 6–3 home win over the Portage Terriers on Saturday night.
Crosby Harrison, Trace Langan, and Nathan Hayes also scored for Swan Valley, while Samuel Bastien stopped 30 shots in goal.
Edward Knittig, Ben Bugeaud, and Adam Belzil replied for Portage.
The Stampeders will look for their fourth straight victory Tuesday when they visit the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Catch the game on GX94, with the pregame show at 7:20 and puck drop at 7:30 p.m. Manitoba time.
