The Yorkton Terriers opened their four-games-in-five-nights road trip with a 3–1 loss to the Flin Flon Bombers Tuesday at the Whitney Forum.
The Bombers jumped out early with first-period goals from Joey
Lies and Sam Ward, before Reid Arberry added another in the second to make it 3–0.
Zach Hertz scored his third of the season in the third period to get Yorkton on the board, but that was as close as the Terriers would come.
Flin Flon goaltender Devin Peck earned his third win in his last four starts, stopping 21 of 22 shots. Callum Creig made 34 saves on 37 shots for Yorkton.
The Terriers continue their northern swing Wednesday night against the La Ronge Ice Wolves.
