YORKTON — The Royal Canadian Legion General Alexander Ross Branch No. 77 have marked Veterans' Week in Yorkton with the raising of their poppy flag at the Cenotaph.
Veterans' Week runs from Nov. 5–11, with several events planned in the city including members of the Legion will visit a number of schools in the city during the week,
A candlelight service at the Cenotaph located at the junction of Second Ave. N and Darlington will be held Nov. 10 at 4:00 p.m.
The week culminates with a Remembrance Day Service at the Gallagher Centre Flexihall at 10:45 a.m Nov. 11.
