ATV rollover on Fishing Lake First Nation leaves child dead

FISHING LAKE FIRST NATION – Wadena RCMP are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident that occurred on Fishing Lake First Nation on November 18.

Police say the incident happened at 6 p.m. when an ATV carrying four children rolled over. One passenger, a boy under the age of twelve, was transported to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

RCMP say the driver and the two other passengers did not report any serious injuries.
