Residents in Saskatchewan may be allowed to drive golf carts on public roads.
SGI updated a policy that will allow people to drive golf carts on certain muncipal roads, if their municipality passes a bylaw.
Previously, if municipalities passed a bylaw allowing it, golf carts were only permitted for transportation to and from the golf course.
The change stemmed from a request from the SUMA convention, primarily from smaller communities and resort villages.
