The SJHL has named Melville Millionaires goaltender Matthew Spencer-Dahl its SGEU MVP of the Week — for the second week in a row.
The 20-year-old Melville product continues to be a major reason for the Millionaires’ surge in the tough Bunge Division. Spencer-Dahl went 2–0 this week with a 1.50 goals-against average, a .950 save percentage, and 57 total saves.
Across the league, Humboldt’s Jacob Strizzi earned Forward of the Week after a five-point night against La Ronge; Battlefords defenceman Linken Fisher took blueline honours with four points in three games; Estevan’s Dylan Adams was named Goaltender of the Week thanks to a 48-save shutout in Humboldt; and Weyburn rookie Nate Stevens grabbed Rookie of the Week after winning both his starts.
