MELVILLE — The first phase of Cornerstone Credit Union’s extensive renovation of its Melville branch is nearing completion.
Phase one included a complete overhaul of the existing branch with a redesign of the interior layout and the exterior façade, along with upgrades to furniture, equipment and technology. The refreshed space will offer advanced digital banking options, expanded financial services and comfortable areas for personalized service. Environmental sustainability measures were also incorporated throughout the renovation.
A new exterior ATM has been installed for enhanced safety, increased visibility, convenience and 24/7 access.
“At Cornerstone Credit Union, our commitment to the communities we serve is at the heart of everything we do,” said Doug Jones, chief executive officer at Cornerstone Credit Union.
Cornerstone says it prioritized working with local trades wherever possible.
The second phase of the project, which includes updates to administration areas, will begin early in the new year and is expected to be completed mid-year.
