Winter in this part of Saskatchewan has been wild this year—so much snow! I can’t remember the last time we had this many snowdrifts piling up. Shoutout to the crews keeping our roads in and out of town clear. They’ve been working around the clock. Keep in mind, driving down Darlington in Yorkton, if you’re crossing the lanes, drive carefully, those meridians are stacked pretty high with snow. We’ve seen some beautiful things though with this snow. Like Monday morning and all of that hoar frost covering everything! And the sun hits the snow, or the Christmas lights that are still up, and it sparkles like diamonds, it’s pretty magical.
