Another court appearance has been made by a Hudson Bay man, arrested in connection with a firearm trafficking investigation.
In November, 57-year-old Steven Bondy was committed for trial in Melfort Court of King’s Bench, and at a pretrial appearance there on Jan. 12, he was remanded in custody to Feb. 23.
In March of 2024, RCMP raided a home in the Hudson Bay area, and seized forty rifles, two handguns, about twenty more firearms in various states of disassemble, and more than ten-thousand rounds of ammunition.
They also confiscated illegal cigarettes, mint coins and gold jewelry believed to be stolen, and small amounts of cocaine and crystal meth.
