A new court date has been set for a man arrested in connection with a break and enter in Dauphin.
38-year-old Sheldon “Benny” Chartrand of Dauphin appeared in Dauphin Provincial Court Jan. 13, where a trial on his matter was set for September 22.
In the early morning hours of April 29, Mounties were called to a home, where they say a break and enter led to threats against a female occupant, and a dog being injured.
While making the arrest, police say the suspect resisted, and they had to use a taser to bring him into custody.
