Team Saskatchewan captures third edition of Challenge Cup in Shoal Lake

Team Saskatchewan continued their dominance of Challenge Cup after capturing their 3rd straight game on Monday afternoon.

The Saskatchewan squad comprised of graduating 9 – a side football players from across the province beat the Rural Manitoba Football League All-Stars (Team Manitoba) 51-14 in Shoal Lake, Manitoba.

Saskatchewan led 37-7 at the half, and were able capitalize on 5 Manitoba turnovers.

The Saskatchewan contingent will look for their 4th straight Challenge Cup victory next year in the game which will take place in the town of Foam Lake in 2024.
