Spent some much-needed time off this past week by heading back home to Regina for some time with the fam. Got lots of dog cuddles, caught up with everyone, and had a girls’ night out with my mom and aunt with a Christmas gift I bought last year: tickets to see Tim Meadows at Casino Regina. The best surprise? Our seats were way closer than they looked online, like, five feet from the stage close!
A couple of local comedians opened the show and had us laughing right away. It was awesome to see Tim Meadows giving the spotlight to some Saskatchewan talent before he hit the stage. The whole room was buzzing, setting the perfect mood for the main event.
I went in with zero expectations since I’d never seen Tim Meadows do stand-up before, just his work on SNL, Mean Girls, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. He totally blew me away! His stage presence was amazing and he was hilarious from start to finish. I’m hoping he comes back to Saskatchewan soon! Or even gets a Netflix special, because how has this man not gotten one yet?

This is the only picture I got of the event. They had a big voice over the speaker before the show saying put your devices away, no recording and no photos.
