The Melville Millionaires have announced Doug Johnson as their new Head Coach and General Manager.
The team was in need of a new bench boss after the team & Mike Rooney mutually parted ways in mid-April.
The 47 year old Johnson brings well of a decade of Junior Hockey coaching experience to the Mils organization and most recently spent this past season as the Head Coach & Asst. GM with MJHL’s OCN Blizzard.
Previous to that, he coached the Nipawin Hawks (SJHL) for 11 seasons and was the winningest coach in Hawks history with a career mark of 342-207-25-31 mark and also won 3 Coach of the Year awards and a league title in 2018.
