A Dauphin man has been arrested in connection with a weapon seizure in the city.
On Saturday night, Dauphin RCMP spotted a man outside of a convenience store, who was breaching the conditions of his release order.
When an officer tried to arrest him, he allegedly resisted, before being taken into custody.
A search of the suspect’s bag turned up a sawed-off shotgun, a knife, ammunition, a road flare, and drug paraphernalia.
42-year-old Daniel Gingera faces numerous charges, and will be in Dauphin Provincial Court, May 7.
